This policy sets out your rights when you buy from Dr Tech Nerds (“we”, “us”). It applies alongside your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and does not affect them.
14-day change-of-mind returns
If you are a consumer, you may cancel and return most items within 14 days of receiving them for any reason. Tell us within 14 days (email info@drtechnerds.co.uk), then return the item within 14 days of telling us. We refund within 14 days of receiving the item back, using your original payment method.
Items must be returned complete, in as-new condition with all accessories and packaging. You are responsible for return postage on change-of-mind returns and for any loss of value caused by handling beyond what is necessary.
Custom / bespoke builds
PCs configured to your specification through our configurator are made to order. The statutory 14-day change-of-mind right does not apply to bespoke goods made to your specification, but this does not affect your rights if the item is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
Faulty or incorrect items
If an item is faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described, contact us as soon as possible. Within 30 days of delivery you are entitled to a full refund; after that we will repair or replace under warranty. We cover return carriage on faulty goods.
Warranty
All builds carry a 12-month warranty on parts and labour (extendable at checkout). Warranty covers component failure under normal use; it does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or unauthorised modification.
